Used coffee grounds for your garden!
Help us repurpose our used coffee grounds for your garden. After brewing, they supply nitrogen and contribute to a balanced carbon-to-nitrogen ratio that supports microbial activity in your compost.
HOW IT WORKS
Add Grounds Directly to Your Garden
Apply these used coffee grounds as a soil amendment to your garden by applying a half-inch of grounds to a depth of 4 inches of soil. Cover with leaves or bark mulch to prevent the surface from drying out.
Add Coffee Grounds to Your Compost
If you have a home compost, combine these used coffee grounds with the brown materials in your compost pile. Aim for a balance by mixing coffee grounds (greens) with dry leaves, or dried grass (browns). Avoid adding large clumps of coffee grounds, spread them out evenly. Turn your compost regularly to help everything break down. Once your compost is dark, crumbly, and smells earthy, it’s ready to use. Sprinkle it to garden beds to improve soil structure and add nutrients as a natural amendment.
